What is a Drum Key?

A drum key is a tool which is used to tune drumheads. EVANS drum keys are standard-sized so they will fit the standard-sized lugs which secure the perimeter of a drumhead.

How to Use a Drum Key 

To use a drum key, simply place the drum key over the lugs of the drumhead and turn. If you’re loosening the lug, you’ll turn the key counterclockwise. If you’re tightening the lugs, you’ll turn the lugs clockwise.
