Charlie Engen currently resides in Minnesota. Lately he plays with Five Finger Death Punch, Scale the Summit, and Ideology. He received his Masters in Music and has focused on creating his own playing style combining elements of progressive metal, funk, Latin, and West African rhythms. Engen's goal is to utilize the many different approaches and rhythmic tools to create a playing style that is represented in a unique and musical way.
